Support
Mail goes to a person.
There is no ticket system and no support tier. Write to k.horiuchi@hifumi.app and you will usually hear back the same day.

It will not find my speakers
Almost always the network rather than the app.
Discovery checklist →It drops out or drifts
Wireless airtime, roaming, or an AirPlay 1 device in the group.
Troubleshooting →I am setting it up for the first time
Install, the one-time engine setup, pairing codes, groups and sound.
Setup guide →I need my licence key again
Mail us the address you bought with and we will resend it.
Email support →I want a refund
See the refund policy for conditions and how to contact us.
Refund policy →I am moving to a new Mac
Deactivate on the old one, or just ask — replacing a Mac is not a reason to buy again.

What to put in the email
Five lines that turn a two-day exchange into one reply.
- 01
The output of Settings → Check setup
It reports each requirement and which one is failing. This alone answers most questions.
- 02
Your macOS version and Mac model
Apple silicon or Intel, and which macOS.
About This Machas both. - 03
Which speakers are in the group
Brands and models. "Two HomePod minis and a Sonos Era 100" is enough.
- 04
What the network looks like
One router or a mesh, whether the Mac is wired, and whether the speakers are on 2.4 or 5 GHz.
- 05
What you expected and what happened
Including how long it took to go wrong — immediately, or after twenty minutes.
If it simply does not work on your network
Contact support and review the refund policy. Multi-room AirPlay depends on your wireless network, nobody can test that for you, and $19 is not worth either of us being annoyed about.
See the conditions in our refund policy. The 7-day trial exists so this comes up as rarely as possible.
Common questions
What if it does not work on my network?
Use the seven-day trial to check your speakers and network before buying. For purchase or compatibility questions, contact the support address below.
How much is it, and is it a subscription?
19 USD buys a perpetual license for version 1.x. Updates such as 1.0 to 1.1 are included. Version 2.x requires a separate purchase, with pricing not yet decided. There is no subscription. Other currencies are converted from the USD price.
What is in the free trial?
The trial lasts seven days and requires no payment card. An internet connection is required to start it, after restarting the app, and every 12 hours during use. The server manages expiry; changing the Mac clock does not extend it. Purchased licenses are verified offline.
What do I need?
macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon, compatible AirPlay or Chromecast speakers on the same network, and administrator authentication to install the driver. The distributed PKG is for Apple Silicon.
Why does it need a restart after installing?
Installing the virtual audio driver requires administrator authentication and a Mac restart. Follow the installer instructions when updating the driver. App-only updates use a separate update path.
Will macOS ask for microphone access?
SoundFerry uses an output-only virtual audio driver and does not request microphone permission.
