Audio route
Check the WiiM model and route
WiiM Mini, Pro, Pro Plus and the original Amp support AirPlay 2. WiiM Ultra, Amp Pro and Amp Ultra do not. Check WiiM’s current AirPlay compatibility list for your exact model.
SoundFerry also supports Google Cast outputs. A WiiM model without AirPlay needs a compatible alternative output route; check its specifications and test the combination with HomePod.
Use each room the way you prefer
A WiiM can connect an existing audio system to a network source, while a HomePod offers another listening point. Select the outputs you want for a session and balance their volume for your rooms.
For playback inside Music, its built-in AirPlay menu can select HomePod and an AirPlay-compatible WiiM. SoundFerry is useful for routing Mac system audio and keeping the same group when you change players.
Tune with a familiar track
Start with modest EQ changes and compare with processing bypassed. Room acoustics, speaker placement and the receiver’s own processing also affect the result. SoundFerry provides timing adjustment for the selected outputs; check the actual combination while listening.
Set up playback

Install and complete initial setup
Follow the installer and setup guide, including the audio driver, required runtime and Mac restart.

Choose SoundFerry as the Mac output
Open System Settings → Sound → Output and choose SoundFerry. In players with their own output setting, select the system output or SoundFerry.

Select your speakers and start streaming
Choose the available compatible outputs in SoundFerry. Complete pairing if prompted, then start playback.

Save the rooms you use together
Adjust the volume and timing while listening, then save your selection as a group.

Questions
Does the brand name alone establish compatibility?
No. WiiM models have different network features. Check the exact model and the output type shown in SoundFerry before choosing your group.
Can I adjust the timing between speakers?
SoundFerry provides a delay control for each speaker to help align playback. The result depends on the speakers and network. Use the trial to check your saved groups in the rooms where you listen.
How much delay is there?
Audio reaches the speakers a few seconds after it plays on your Mac. SoundFerry is designed for music listening; instrument monitoring, games and calls need a faster response. For video, check whether your player can compensate for audio delay.
