HomePod questions
How do I check my HomePod setup?
Keep your HomePod set up in the Home app and connected to the same network as the Mac. Manufacturer guidance. SoundFerry playback should be checked with your own network and devices.
Can I adjust the timing between speakers?
SoundFerry provides a delay control for each speaker to help align playback. The result depends on the speakers and network. Use the trial to check your saved groups in the rooms where you listen.
Can I use Spotify and YouTube?
Select SoundFerry as the macOS audio output to send audio from apps using that output. No browser extension is required. Apps that use a separate output need their own output setting adjusted.
How much delay is there?
Audio reaches the speakers a few seconds after it plays on your Mac. SoundFerry is designed for music listening; instrument monitoring, games and calls need a faster response. For video, check whether your player can compensate for audio delay.
How much is it, and is it a subscription?
The price is 49 USD once, with no subscription. Your purchase includes all future updates, including major versions. See licence and payment details.
How does the trial work?
The trial provides 7 days from activation, with no payment card required. Internet access is needed at activation, when restarting the app, and normally every 12 hours during use. Playback stops if the trial permission expires without a successful check. See the full trial conditions.
What do I need?
